Malerkotla is a city and a Municipal Council located at Sangrur District in Punjab, India. It was the seat of the eponymous princely state during the British rule. The state acceded to the union of India in 1947 and was merged with other nearby princely states to create the Patiala and East Punjab States’ Union (PEPSU). When that political entity was reorganised in 1956, the territories of the former state of Malerkotla became part of Punjab.

We at TechPasture had developed High Quality Android Mobile Application for Municipal Council, Malerkotla at Punjab, India. Its a government body application for the citizens of this city to capture their complaints under different Municipal Council departments like street lights, sewerage, water supply and Dustbin. Users are able to SignUp App using mobile authenticated OTP and can post their complaints to MC departments through this mobile app along with lat/long location of the complaint point which MC Staff can view at his end and mark complaint status as Start & Complete.

The application have also provisioned to incorporate features such Property tax, House tax, Sewerage bill & water bill payments through this Mobile App only.

Our Mobile Team had followed best practices to develop & integrate features in this project.
Phase 1

Planning & Analysis

Our team had went through project feasibility & requirements analysis to make sure up-to what extent the undertaken project is feasible by features and functionality and economically. This involves various discussions with clients and our in-depth study about the project requirements.
Phase 2

Prototyping & Design

We had created working Prototype and functional modular technical specification where each discussed modules and application features was documented. We created wire-frame screens with optimal performing UX (user experience) and after client approval our designers created real mock-up UI (user interface) Screens and thereafter converted approved screens into responsive smart phone enabled HTML 5 code and CSS.
Phase 3

Development

We had created all required administrator modules in parallel with design phase and In actual in phase 3 our programmers programmed final design layout into framework and created each piece of front-end functionality and features required to complete the project.
Phase 4

Testing & Deployment

In this final stage of project we had done Unit and system testing and fixed all major/minor bugs in the application with the help of Bug Zilla tool. And we deployed the application to production.
